Last week was filled with holiday cheer! We enjoyed a lovely night out on the town at Montgomery County College where we watched the Philadelphia Dance perform the winter classic, The Nutcracker. The Dancers were incredible and put us all in the holiday spirit. We then had the treat of Montgomery County Technical School students visit us during breakfast and lunch to sing holiday carols to us. Gabrielle Sharp, a young aspiring artist and student, also came to the community to spread holiday cheer. She serenaded us with beautiful renditions of our favorite holiday songs on the piano. Our residents from The Inn had a spectacular time exploring the magic of the holidays in Bucks County. There we had a wonderful Italian dinner and Piccolo Trattoria followed by a drive through the one and only Shady Brook Farm. The following morning our residents from Pathways had a wonderful time shopping at Byers’ choice. It is a delightful local holiday store that also has its own museum of holiday decor and dolls. We especially enjoyed looking over the factory and watching the “Christmas elves” at work making the beautiful dolls. We would like to wish everyone a very Happy Holiday and a Healthy New Year!
